Basic Sustainable Agriculture Certificate, CTE
The Basic Sustainable Agriculture Certificate provides students with a strong foundation in sustainable farming and food production. This program explores key agricultural concepts, including biotechnology, GMOs, alternative and conventional farming methods, and organic agriculture. Students will develop practical skills in soil science, plant science, and animal science, gaining hands-on experience with soil health, crop management, sustainable pest control, and resource-efficient farming practices. Through interactive learning, they will explore environmentally responsible techniques that support long-term agricultural sustainability. This certificate is ideal for individuals interested in sustainable food systems, regenerative agriculture, and environmentally friendly farming practices.
