LCC’s Presents Matilda The Musical in July
Matilda The Musical will grace the Turner Stage at Lenoir Community College this coming July. The musical's narrative centers on Matilda Wormwood, a precocious 5-year-old girl with the gift of telekinesis. She loves reading, overcomes obstacles caused by her family and school, and helps her teacher reclaim her life.
LCC places in statewide wellness challenge
Miles for Wellness is sponsored by NC OSHR Worksite Wellness, and is held for eight weeks in the Spring and Fall of each year, as a way to get employees up and moving. Lenoir Community College’s Campus Cruisers placed third in the Super Hare Division of Challenge 27 – The Road to the Stanley Cup.
Student finds career through LCC’s WIOA Youth Program
Twenty-year-old Travis Rouse of Snow Hill has a new job with a promising career in his future, and it all started at Lenoir Community College (LCC). The Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce held its 2023 Business Award Presentations today, recognizing outstanding businesses and individuals in the community. After a hiatus, the event returned to Rotary, where local businesses and elected officials gathered to celebrate the achievements of their peers.
