GKCU and LCC Partner for Cars for College
The Greater Kinston Credit Union (GKCU), a non-profit chartered credit union under the laws of the State of North Carolina, is partnering with Lenoir Community College to assist students in financing vehicles through the LCC Cars for College program, a program that was created to help eliminate transportation barriers for attending classes and finding employment.
Lancer Academy, a college within a high school, opens Monday at Kinston High
When Kinston High School opens its campus to students for the 2021-2022 school year on Monday, it will open the door to a college within a high school, the product of a new and innovative partnership between Lenoir County Public Schools and Lenoir Community College.

LCC grad’s educational path started in the military
Lenoir Community College graduate Marc DeNeal’s educational journey was not a traditional straight path from high school to college. His education started long before he entered LCC in 2013 when he joined the US Navy after graduating from high school.
Job Fair to be held at Jones County Civic Center
Lenoir Community College, NCWorks Career Centers of Lenoir & Craven County, and the NCWorks Career Services Center of Jones County will host a Job Fair at the Jones County Civic Center.
