The CNC Machinist Certificate provides students with the skills to operate and program Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines used in manufacturing. The program covers blueprint reading, machine setup, precision measurement, and CNC programming. With hands-on experience on industry-standard equipment, students learn to create precise parts and components for a variety of industries, including automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing. This certificate prepares graduates for entry-level positions as CNC operators or machinists, offering a pathway to advanced roles in machining and manufacturing technology. Applicants interested in this credential should apply for the Industrial Systems Technology, AAS program.
