Congratulations, Graduates!
It was a night to remember for the nearly 250 graduates who walked across the stage at Lenoir Community College to receive degrees in the College’s 61st Annual Commencement in the Student Center.
Lenoir Community College will hold its 61st commencement at 7 p.m. May 11 in the Student Center with Dr. Deborah Grimes as the guest speaker. Admission to the ceremony is by ticket only as seating is limited. More than 350 graduates are eligible to receive degrees.
Congratulations to Lenoir Community College Digital Marketing Coordinator Jimmy Taylor and Graphic Designer Kylie Chadwick on their Bronze Paragon Awards from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) conference recently in Orlando, Florida. NCMPR is the only organization of its kind that exclusively represents marketing and public relations professional at community and technical colleges.
March is Women's History Month, a time to celebrate the vital role of women in American history. Richy Huneycutt is one such woman who has made a significant impact. She is a positive force, known for her dedication to bringing about positive change and her belief in the power of collaboration.
Lenoir Community College will be hosting a Disaster Management Day on Wednesday, March 29, as an opportunity for students in the Associate Degree Nursing, Practical Nursing, Surgical Technology, Radiography, Medical Assisting and EMS programs to practice their scopes of practice as they would during a mass casualty event.
