The Lenoir Community College Aerospace & Advanced Manufacturing Center, located at 3800 NC Hwy 58 in Kinston, offers classes in Computer Engineering Technology, Computer Integrated Machining, Industrial Systems Technology, and Mechanical Engineering Technology. The state-of-the-art facility reopened in the fall and was previously used for Spirit training.
Lenoir Community College showed their support for veterans on Wednesday by lighting the main building green, illuminating campus for the rest of November. Organizers held a small ceremony at 3 p.m. thanking veterans and handed out green lightbulbs to the community for residents to put in their homes.
