Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Federal Student Aid, a part of the U.S. Department of Education, is the largest provider of student financial aid in the nation. Applications must be completed online each year to be eligible for federal, state, or institutional student aid.

NEXT NC = FREE COLLEGE)

The NEXT NC Scholarship is available to students who plan to enroll at Lenoir Community College or any North Carolina public institution (2-year or 4-year) and provides $3,000 to $5,000 per academic year to help students cover the cost of tuition, books, fees, and living or other expenses.
