Welding Technology Diploma, CTE

The Welding Technology Diploma provides comprehensive training in a variety of welding techniques and processes. The curriculum includes in-depth instruction in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), and welding safety. Students also learn blueprint reading, metal fabrication, and welding inspection.

With a mix of classroom learning and hands-on practice, this diploma prepares graduates for advanced welding positions in industries like manufacturing, construction, and shipbuilding. Applicants interested in this credential should apply to the Welding Technology, AAS program.
