Registration Procedures

In order to register for classes, you must first meet admission requirements regarding registration eligibility. Registration holds such as, unpaid traffic violations, tuition balances, financial aid debts, library fines, etc., must be cleared by the originating office. A hold will prevent your ability to register face-to-face or online. Active holds can be viewed in Self-Service.

Traditional Registration Dates and Hours

Traditional face-to-face (not online) registration is available during registration dates as indicated on the Academic Calendar. During the summer, registration begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The college is closed on Friday during the summer. When the college is not on summer working hours, registration begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday. On Fridays registration begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m.

Self-Service Online Registration

Self-Service is open during registration dates as indicated on the Academic Calendar. Registration opens at 8 a.m. during registration periods held in fall and spring and 7:30 a.m. during registration periods held in the summer. Once registration opens, it remains open for registration 24 hours a day (with the exception of system maintenance daily from 3:10 a.m. – 3:25 a.m.) until the close of business on the last day of the registration period. If the last day of the registration period is on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, online registration will close at 7 p.m. If the last day of the registration period is on a Friday, online registration will close at 3 p.m.

Every effort will be made to maintain these hours of operation. However, the college reserves the right to close the system as necessary.
